Graycliff Hotel Opens Kithchen Doors
Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant, has opened its 5-star kitchen once again to students who wish to partake in a special 3-week Graycliff Culinary Academy session.
During this three-week culinary series, aspiring chefs will get an insight into the culinary secrets of Graycliff’s five-star restaurant. The intimate and interactive classes will be taught by Executive Chef Elijah Bowe and his team in the Graycliff Restaurant Kitchen, for three Saturdays in September:
Week 1 (September 11) - Savory Soups and Breads
Week 2 (September 18) - Isles of Romance (Food & Wine Lovers Pairing)
Week 3 (September 25) - Culinary “The Mediterranean Way”
Space is limited to 10 students per class; early registration will guarantee a spot. Class times are 10:30am to 2:00pm. The per-student cost is $125 per class or $300 for all 3 classes. No prior cooking experience is necessary. All ingredients and materials for Graycliff Culinary Academy will be supplied. Included in each session is lunch, consisting of the dishes prepared in that day’s class; accompanied by a glass of wine or other beverage. Lunch will be served in the dining room by Graycliff’s waiters.
Kelly Meister, who participated in the Graycliff Culinary Academy session last summer, remarked “Chef Bowe uses only the finest and freshest ingredients and the recipes are well prepared so that each student can recreate the dishes easily in their own kitchen. In addition to learning to make a new dish, we got to enjoy the incredible meal we had just prepared along with new friends.”
Following each session, each student will receive the recipes from class, an apron, and a certificate of participation to bring home from the Caribbean’s first five-star restaurant.
